our recommendations:
- Do NOT drink from the tap - Use the provided water dispensers
- Drink LOTS of water, especially when working: 3/4 to 1 Gallon/day
- Bring electrolytes to add to your water bottle
- Identify a medically trained person on your trip
- Bring a standard first aid kit with you (bandaids, pain relief, etc...)
- Toilet paper goes into the waste can, and NOT into the toilet bowl
- Never leave the Ranch alone

The Tecate Red Cross station (map at right) is useful for minor stitches. You can pickup most meds at the Roma Pharmacy in town.
